So, here is a stripped down… recipe with just a few fresh, natural ingredients.
It may seem simple, but this is one of my favorite things to eat as a light dinner.
Make sure you use a good quality salt (I like the pink Himalayan variety from Trader Joe’s) and olive oil, and you’ll be amazed at how delcious this “naked” dish can be.
Naked Green Beans
- 1 package organic trimmed green beans
- 1 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
- Pinch sea salt
- 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 4 lemon slices
Steam green beans until bright green and crisp-tender, about 5 minutes. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt, and squeeze with lemon juice. Top with lemon slices and serve.
